David Srour

PhD student, Computer Science and Engineering

David Srour completed his bachelor in Computer Science in 2012 and began working for a year as a software engineer under Falko Kuester. David is currently a PhD student at UC San Diego and is specializing in computer graphics and software engineering. His main passion is building large scale real-time graphical applications. His previous work range from building frameworks to speed up development of multi-tiled display applications as well as a reusable network layer to encourage state sharing between 3D virtual reality environments. Currently his research focuses on finding new ways to visualize geo-referenced data and innovating techniques to render large point-cloud animations in real-time. David hopes to be able to visualize how large temporal point-clouds change over time.
